Let Mon Lee

Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy and Legislation

Mr. Let Mon Lee assumed duties as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy and Legislation on September 8, 2009. In this capacity Mr. Lee serves as the principal legislative advisor to the ASA (CW), and as the responsible individual for executive direction of Army Civil Works programs involving the development of projects for navigation, flood risk management and storm damage prevention, environmental restoration and related water resources activities.

Prior to this assignment, Mr. Lee served as the Senior Water Resources Policy Advisor to the Senate Committee on Environmental and Public Works for six years. Provide technical support to the Senate Committee on Environmental and Public Works, in the development of the Water Resources Development Act. Prior to the Senate assignment Mr. Lee served in various positions in Headquarters of United States Army Corps of Engineers as the Senior Policy Advisor and Planner for over for 25 years.

Mr. Lee graduated from Columbia University in June 1977. He received a Master of Science degree in water resources from New York Polytechnic Institute in June 1983.
